Classic SUP Board by ConnellyThe Connelly name makes some of us drift back to days on the lake with a pair of water skis. These guys have been around for a long time, and their expertise in SUP design comes as no surprise.

What I really love about the Connelly Classic SUP is the appearance. It’s design definitely makes a bold statement on the water, but maintains a classic look for water sports enthusiasts.

As for construction, the Classic features 2 full-length wood stringer EPS core, epoxy construction wrapped in 2 layers of fiberglass on top, and 3 layers on bottom, soft CNC cut EVA footbed and pad, auto vent, and center-weighted grasp handle.

The Connelly Classic SUP board is ideal for those of us looking to use stand up paddleboarding as a way to get or stay in shape while getting some time on the water.

These boards are built for ease of use and durability, enabling novice riders to hop on a board and start paddling right away. However, if you need more stability, the Connelly is 30″ wide in the middle, so it could be a little tippy for heavier, beginner paddlers.

This board has a list price of $1300 but is currently on sale.
